CABRIL

A woman working on a loom. A linen plant that converts into a yarn. A yarn that becomes a textile and a textile that turns into soil and grows as flower again.
In Gerês there was the tradition of burying our ancestors with the best linen fabrics. So this wall in Cabril, Xertelo, represents this natural cycle and the traditional loom.

This project is part of a collective intervention on 8 bus stops in Cabril. The team was Carolina M. Correia, Luísa J. Crisóstomo, Mantraste, Maria Taborda, Miguel Brum, Pedro Lourenço e Susana Antão.
