FAZUNCHAR '20
As part of the Art Festival Fazunchar 2020 in Figueiró dos Vinhos, organized by Mistaker Maker, I was invited to create an image inspired by one of the artworks of José Malhoa, a prominent artist from the 20th century who lived in Figueiró. I chose the painting "Paisagem com Casario" and developed a whole new narrative around it.

I chose the painting "Paisagem com Casario" and developed a whole new narrative around it.
This piece was featured in a collection of postcards and was also included in a "Special Edition with Carolina Maria" of "Sebenta da Quarentena," which was distributed for free in various local institutions.
"Sebenta da Quarentena" is an activity book designed for both children and adults, created by different authors and artists. Here, my illustration "Paisagem com Casario" was presented as a line drawing, allowing people to freely color it in.
In Fazunchar Festival 2023, the illustration was printed in big, making part of a collective retrospective named “Ilustrar Malhoa 2019-2022”.
